About Us

The VinoMobile apps are conceived, designed and content managed by Kurt Gibel. The technical implementation is done by a small, highly motivated team of developers.

Kurt Gibel has written two wine books, one on wine tasting with mindmapping and the other on wine and grape profiles. He has taught wine tasting classes for beginners and co-developed websites for wine merchants. He has also been developing wine apps since 2009.

Before retiring, he worked full-time for almost two decades in a large Swiss law firm as office manager responsible for IT, HR, infrastructure, marketing, etc., and before that in the semiconductor and telecommunications industry as head of quality management, head of administration, sales controller, and in various other roles.
